tex...Hello,
Where did you purchase the Quicken Deluxe 2017 for Mac. I currently use 2007 version on two laptops with OS: Yosemite 10.10.5. Will the 2017 version work on Yosemite as well and seamlessly transfer my data from my 2007 version? Finally will I be able to use the app. on at least two laptops.
Thanks.

The difference is that Essentials was beyond its support period. QM2017 is still the current product and is supported until April 2020. See here:Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Had to upgrade from a program that was working for me just fine.
Good. Then I would I would expect them to do something. Patch, call it what they may, just get us from Sierra to HS with no problems. I have been with Quicken since the very beginning (Intuit). Had it installed on a couple of old clunker PCs. I never bothered to look at other programs. It annoyed the heck out of me to have to have to upgrade when I moved to Sierra. Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Well, be prepared to be annoyed again. The writing is on the wall that Quicken is moving to an annual subscription model. The Canadian version has become that already. If you do not subscribe each year, not only do you lose the ability to download transactions, but your data becomes read only. Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Yes, writing on the wall. Any alternate programs charge I believe. May be some free ones out there though. I will have no problem with an annual fee as long as they don't price themselves out of the game. Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. A summary of all the issues about this new subscription model discussed has been captured here:Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Had to upgrade from a program that was working for me just fine.
So, what is the status with Quicken 2017 being compatible with Mac OS Sierra? This should not take this long. Are there other products out there? I'm losing confidence with Quicken not being able to keep up.Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. QM2017 is fully compatible with macOS Sierra (the current version of macOS). macOS High Sierra comes out in the fall and there have been no announcements yet about Quicken compatibility with that version. However, QM2017 will definitely be made compatible with High Sierra if it is not already. Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Something like this can be complex. You best bet is to contact Quicken Support so they can connect to your machine and actually see what's going on.Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Had to upgrade from a program that was working for me just fine.
Will do. Thx.Thanks, got burned once; Essentials to Mac 2017. Won't make that mistake again. Had to upgrade from a program that was working for me just fine.
I am using MQ2017 with High Sierra. No issues. Is Quicken 2017 now compatible with Mac HighSierra OS?
So far, the same. Fingers crossed but it's working the same. (Not high praise, I understand!)Is Quicken 2017 now compatible with Mac HighSierra OS?
